Until Now

And Today We Live

Twisted

The monstrosity, it struck me,
When I realised what it was.
It's torn me, twisted me from the inside to out.
To trust, never will it cross my mind.

Forsaken, I thought it was love.
It was what I bathed in.
But deep down, in his soul,
It was the devil's scheme.

Enslaved between two fires.
Planning to never let me go.
He saw in mine, the fear and the strife.
While in his, it was a maniacal crave.

A silent cry.
The pain, as if it wasnt there.
The glass slipped as blood flowed.
It was my only chance.

The fall, never leaving my ears.
The residue on my hands.
Visions of bullets, penetrating his heart.
It broke me.

In the storm comes the calm
So there was this spark. And the spark was alone. It had no where to go, no where to hide. It shuddered at the thought of non-existence and clenched it's core in sick anticipation of nothing. Red and fleeting by each passing second, it turned blue. Now, it had something to burn for, to live again.
