Good day! Well i decided to just redo a little something that I had a project on in school near the middle of the year. It was a science project. REAL cool one! I chose the topic for my presentation. Its about CHOCOLATE! Isn't that way cool? Except the fact that I don't really like a lot of chocolate. I hardly eat it. Only occasionally. Anyway, here it goes!
CHOCOLATES
Chocolate Chemistry First things first, Chocolates make you fell PLEASURED and WELL-BEING. Ain't that why we all like it so much?
Point ONE Sweetness aside, there are various chemical elements in chocolates that stimulate cravings.
In fact, chocolate contains over 300 chemicals and all is not known how all of these affect people.
Point TWO
Central nervous stimulants such as caffeine are also present but in small amounts. This has a mild effect on alertness as we know from drinking COFFEE.
Another mild stimulant present in chocolate is THEOBROMINE. This serves to relax the smooth muscles in the lining of the lungs.
IS IT A LOVE DRUG?
YES!!
CHOCOLATE CONTAINS A NATURAL 'LOVE DRUG'.
In chocolates, there is a chemical called TRYPTOPHAN. The brain uses this to produce SEROTONIN.
High levels SEROTONIN can produce feelings of ELATION, even ECSTACY.
Hence that is how the designer drug ECSTACY works, by increasing SEROTONIN levels.
LUST DRUG?
YES AGAIN!!
Chocolate contains another chemical called PHENYLETHYLAMINE!
High levels of this neurotransmitter helps to promote feelings of ATTRACTION, GIDDINESS, EXCITMENT and APPREHENSION.
This neurotransmitter works by stimulating the brain’s pleasure centers and reaches peak levels during orgasm.
CHOCOHOLISM
This is definitely a possible scenario. The physical dependency on chocolate. Studies on psychoactive drugs show that addiction is associated with your BRAIN and its NEUROTRANSMITTER.
So it’s possible that with every bite of the chocolate, your brain is being gradually ‘rewired’ in order to make you LOVE chocolate even MORE!!
Hope you enjoy filling your mind with wild, out-of-this-world knowledge(:

In the storm comes the calm
So there was this spark. And the spark was alone. It had no where to go, no where to hide.
It shuddered at the thought of non-existence and clenched it's core in sick anticipation of nothing.
Red and fleeting by each passing second, it turned blue.
Now, it had something to burn for, to live again.

I am a jumble of passions, misgivings and wants. It seems that I am always in a state of wishing and rarely in a state of contentment.
